Lloyd Dobler -the keymaster.... right on.
Sorry, I got carried away with movie lines - can anyone name it?
OK, so people, I stirred up a little fury passion amongst you, didn't I?
Facebook is officially a love-hate relationship. You either love it or you hate it.
I get it.
Lest you misunderstood me last time, let me just emphasize once again that I was looking for enlightenment...
Maybe you got distracted by my witty banter.
Those of you who love it, let me just say that I kept my page, I even added a picture of myself for crying out loud. I am really open to seeing what is fun about it.
But I don't understand the games, the bling, the poking and the very public comments for all the world to see. Why not just email the person?
Just wondering what makes it fun FOR YOU.
So, stop calling me an old fart (Fischer, you know I'm the funnest girlfriend you have!!! (yes I meant to say funnest)), and give me a little grace.
And for the love of all that is good and holy, if you have known me for any length of time, you'll know I'm not judging or calling anyone crazy.
Laugh with me okie dokie?

Are you kidding me? Say Anything! I adore John Cusack.
Lloyd Dobler: I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.
Hmmm, might have to watch that soon! I just saw it for $5 at WalMart!
I LOVE that movie! A great classic - from long ago days.
I've always been impressed by people who can remember and regurgitate (sp?) movie lines. (Side bar: regurgitate might be a word willy...I'm not sure...please refer to my blog for explanation). Anyway, for what it's worth, I have one movie line memorized. It comes in handy for random icebreaker occasions when you're asked for your favorite movie line. Can't say it's my favorite...just the only one I can remember. Sad really. The line: "There's no crying in baseball...there's no crying in baseball!!" Oh, and way to strike a nerve. You can always count on a Sweeney to strike a nerve (it's just usually the other one!) :D
Laurie, you are old. I know you have a hard time understanding what all these young whipper snappers find so fun about facebook. I see you've made plenty of friends though! Now drink your Geritol and metamucil and don't forget to lather up your fingers with some icy hot before you surf the World Wide Web!
Agree, facebook is crap:) i'm there to watch friends' pictures.
